18. Wave Rock – Australia

Australia is often associated with the sun and surf of its coastal areas. It’s also well known for a unique inland sandstone rock, Uluru. But … if you head a little inland from Perth in Western Australia, you’ll find Wave Rock. This is a 15-meter high and 110-meter long grey and red granite rock curved like a wave about to break. The solid formation is around 27 million years old.
