22. Cano Cristales – Colombia
For about six months of the year, the colorful Cano Cristales near the center of Columbia is like a multicolored rainbow river of water. Known as the “river of five colors”, the shades of red, pink, yellow, green, blue and black come from the aquatic plants. The 100-kilometer long river is also known for its rapids and waterfalls. Along with the distinct circular holes or pits, which are caused by pebbles or rocks swirling and rotating in the water.
