25. Great Barrier Reef – Australia

The Great Barrier Reef off the northeast coast of Queensland, Australia is the biggest coral reef in the world. There are just under 3,000 reefs covering an area of 344,000 square kilometres. It’s not only spectacular to fly over and visit for snorkelling or scuba diving, it also visible from outer space. Aside from the coral life, you’ll find whales, dolphins, porpoises, turtles, and crocodiles. The Reef is also home to mollusks, sea snakes, and over 1500 different species of tropical fish.
